In March of 2010 Global Agents for Change will again recognize 8 outstanding BC youth at our annual Spring Gala. Identified for their
commitment to their local and global communities, these young leaders will receive financial and mentorshlp support for their projects.
Now is the time to ask: are you, or do you know an Agent for Change?
The Categories:
Youth Acting Globally Award: This award recognizes an Individual or a group of youth who have taken initiative and are positively impacting the world via projects with a global perspective.
Youth Acting Locally Award: This award recognizes an individual or a group of youth who have taken initiative and are positively impacting their local community.

Why Enter?
- Winners are celebrated as the guests of honour at the Global AFC Spring Gala, sharing stories with a packed house of supporters and
other local community leaders.
- Each category has prizes of $750 for 1st, $500 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd and $100 for 4th. All prizes are for development of the project entered.
Nominees also invited to showcase their work in a project fair on the day of the Gala, where the general public votes for the People's Choice Award!
- All nominees gain access to a growing community of young local leaders, as well as mentorship and support for their projects.
- Winners are profiled In The Catalyst, a publication profiling young social entrepreneurs and social changemakers.
